Yuna's.Shower.Invitation

Hi Friends! I wanted to share this cute invitation I made. I'm having a baby shower for my Brother's girlfriend. She's having a girl!
I used DCWV paper, can't remember name but it's the baby girl pack. I used WildCard cart. for the duckie and a SU punch for the pull tab. The card template is the "crisscross" card from Split Coast Stampers tutorial. I used my computer to print the shower details on the card that pulls out. Very proud of this one! :)

MoJo.Monday.#119.Challenge

Finally! no more Christmas cards! I made a birthday card for my stash with the Mojo Monday sketch. I used gorgeous Basic Grey paper from the Ambrosia line. I stamped the elephant on white card stock.
I colored it with Prisma colored pencils. Cut the circles with the cricut and used a fiscars border punch. Used gems and a pearl. It's so cute in person.

CPS-Circle Card Challenge.

I made this for CPS147, Circle card challenge. I cut the circle card from Cricut Wild Card Cart at 5.5" on blackout. Used George cart. for all the circle cuts. Image is from Sweet and Sassy Digital stamp website. Sign says "noses for sale 5 cents". Again, I colored it with prisma pencils, ran through cuttlebug to emboss with swiss dot folder. Used a rinestone florish that is not showing it's bright bling quality because of the way I photgraphed it. Added sheer ribbon and tied on a jingle bell, added gems around the outside. Paper with snowflakes on it is flocked, DCWV. Has stickles too.
Seasons Greetings to one and all! Kim

Cara-Santa Baby Card.

Hi all, I made this card for my daughter Cara. This sweet beautiful girl reminds me of her so I colored her with prisma pencils and odorless mineral spirits. I tried to color her hair to match Cara's (a beautiful auburn reddish brown color) and added tiny freckles to her nose and cheeks. I got this digital stamp from sassy studio design website. Such cute images they have!
I used the yummy K&Co. paper, bazzill cardstock, white dot ribbon. basic grey button, red metallic twine, MS punch and stickles on the hat (you can't see from picture). Can't wait to give it to her. oxoxoKim

BBTB Branch Challenge.

Hi Friends, I don't have WW, wish I did!, so I used a branch from Home Decor cartridge. I struggled with the layout and choosing paper but I'm happy with it now.

I used Bazzill turquoise CS, Basic Grey Paper, the burgandy is from wassail collection and the green is from this years collection, can't remember the name. The scalloped circle is a punch, the bird and branch from Home Decor. Basic Grey button, pink velvet ribbon is making memories, tiny pink ribbon threaded in the button, stamped sentiment, gems, pearls and stickles. The card is 5"x5". I'll have to make an envelope to fit. Merry Christmas, everyone! :) Kim

Homespun Christmas

Hi friends, I made this card for the Bitten By the Bug challenge-Ribbon Frame-from JOTS cartridge. Not only do I have to learn to make great cards, I have to learn photography!!!
These pictures do not capture the homespun feel I created but I had fun making this.
For the berries, I made french knots with floss. I zigzag stitched around the outside in ivory thread and used ivory lace trim. The buttons are basic grey and attached with CTMH hemp in natural. The pp is K&Co. and DCWV and bazzill CS. The image is a re-purposed xmas card from last year from American Greeting that I received and saved. It really pretty IRL. It has glittery snow. Oh, and I inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen. Thanks for looking! xoxo Kim

Sister's Birthday Card

Mary's Birthday Card-Look familar to anyone? A very similar card was on the cover of a card magazine last year. Except I add ribbon and a mat. This stamp, I'm pretty sure, is Hero arts and is heat embossed with black embossing powder. Then I cut tiny flowers with my cricut and added brads. The blue flower is a Got Flowers, prima, tiny, less than 1 inch. Polka dot ribbon from Joannes, not sure of brand. Matted the white cardstock on to yellow glitter paper and used a A2 card base. So cute in person!
Thanks for looking.

BBTB Phone Challenge

Hi all, I have been wanting to play along with the "Bitten By The Bug" weekly challenge for a long time. It's one of the main reasons I created this blog. So for the first week since having a blog, I was lucky enough to have the "From My Kitchen" cartridge, which they chose for the challenge. This cute phone cut comes from that cartridge cut at 3" with black cardstock. I used the text bubble from Going Places for the sentiment. Not sure of the proper name for it. That was cut at 1 3/4" in red heavy dp. The sentiment was created on the computer and trimmed with a trimmer and corner rounded. I can't remember the brand of paper that the background paper is but It reminds me of sound waves so that's why I used it! That and it's just so cheerful! :D
I used sparkle white paper on the star ond center oval and the little highlight. I used 3 orange mini brads and some gingham and dotted red ribbon. I matted it on light blue CS. And did a little doodling. I was planning on adding the word, Valentine, somewhere on the card but it didn't work out. Maybe I'll put it on the inside. So happy to be playing and also happy to be growing skillwise. There are no spots of glue or crooked papers on this so I am getting better! Worthy of playing with the awesome design team at BBTB! Thanks for looking. Please be my first follower!
Love, Kim
