Fall.Squirrel.Card

Hi, I made this for several Fall themed challenges that I will list below. I started with A2 size kraft card base. I added some cosmo cricut wood grain paper that was embossed with a wood grain embossing folder, cuttlebug. The print paper is the other side of the brown paper embossed with divine swirls. I used papertrey ink stamp for squirrel and nuts about you sentiments. The acorn is from a different fall set. I added green sheer ribbon, wood button

and some brown/white bakers twine.

Thanks for looking!

Kim

Mojo.158.Sue's.Bday.Card

Hi all, This is not an easy sketch to follow. It was difficult to tie a ribbon around those 2 panels in the middle but I managed. :) This card turned out not at all what was in my mind when I went to my craft room last night. Not really sure I like it.
Anyway, I used an ivory card base cut down to 5x5". I used a cosmo cricut paper with cheeries, the colors or aqua and red are so pretty. I matted all the panels and used antique linen distress ink liberally. It's much warmer in person. The stamp is Fiscars Birthday sentiments set and the cherries are stampin up.
Thanks. Kim

Jack.The.Greeting.Farm.Eric's.Card

Hi all, The Greeting Farm, Jack, is so cute and has on such cute sneakers. Those were the inspiration for me to choose this digi stamp for my nephew's birthday card. He has a big collection of high top sneakers, scores of them. He'll be 18 next week so he may not appreciate the cutesy-ness of this card but I just love it! I cased this from
http://fantastink.blogspot.com/. It's the post dated 6/29/10.
I just changed the paper and colors. She did a great job.
You have to look hard at the picture to see the kraft cardstock that is blending in with my wallpaper. I used BG 6x6 paper, the dog and kitty one, can't remember the name.
Ribbon-Jillibean Soup, PTI-twine, BG button.
I will submit this to the Stamp Something challenge-Spots and Stripes.

If anyone knows how to add a link to a blog with a shorter title link, please tell me. I've seen it where a person has a few words but when you click on it, the link comes up. ( not like I have it here, just above this sentence.)
Thanks, Kim

Mojo.155.mouse.birthday

Posted by PicasaHi All, this is my Mojo Monday 155 card. I had this Sweet & Sassy Mouse image colored and hadn't had a chance to make a card with it. This will be for my cousin's birthday. I used DCWV Sweet stack 8x8 paper and DCWV cardstock. I added a doily (wilton), some ribbon from Michaels, a button and bakers twine.

The wording on my tag is upside down! oopps. Maybe i'll fix it. See you all later!

TPE.Sweet.Pea.card

The challenge over at The Pink Elephant was a mostly white card. Since I sent off my last baby card in my stash, I decided to make another one. I just love the mostly white cards I see in the blogland.
I used New Arrival Cart. and my expression. I have always wanted to cut this but never have.
The baby's face is, of course, the fantastic, peachy keen stamp. The sentiment is a MSE rub on.
The rest is self-explanitory. Gotta run!

Mojo.Anniv.PPA.OCC

Look! I made a tissue paper flower! First time. I bought some Nesties so I could make it, which one you ask? I don't know, I'm away from home right now so I can't go look but if you'd like a tutorial you can go to JUGS (Fabulous Mona). She has a tutorial. http://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/2009/10/just-us-girls-week-4-3-dtemplate.html

I made this for my In'laws anniversary next week. Can't wait to give it to them. When I saw the Mojo Monday sketch, I knew that it would be good for this flower I was planning on making.

Sure wish I could buy all the spellbinders dies but alas, I have a cricut so I have to use that to cut things as well. I used the Storybook Cart. to cut the scalloped square.

The beautiful BG Koishi paper make this card so delish. My terrible photography doesn't do it justice. I brightened the photo in Picasa software. (what a great discovery).

Hope you all have a nice Labor Day weekend. I'll be riding out the tropical storm!
Kim

This card also fits the Color Challenge at __________will fill in later, It's Lavender, yellow and green pastels
